Dreams of Peace & Freedom is a moving song cycle exploring the birth of modern human rights. The writings of David Maxwell Fyfe,
Nuremberg prosecutor and champion of the European Convention,
intertwine with musical settings of the poets who inspired him.
Premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014, it toured as a
pop-up production through the spring of 2015, and now returns to contribute to the debate about the future of human rights in the UK.
