Oscar Wilde's enduring story of how a statue prince and migrating swallow redeem the poverty of a city is brought imaginatively up to date by a cast of 4 and a piano, exploring how a tale is told and bringing alive for the audience all the ‘tricks of the trade’.
A CD of the songs has been released by Dress Circle and the twentieth anniversary production recordings are available now click here or below. Some of the songs have also found their way into cabaret, and were recorded for BBC Radio 2’s NIGHTRIDE by Casson’s jazz trio Premier Cru.
