For the London launch of Songs of the People, we have been carolling for peace and freedom in the city to celebrate ECHR's protections in song.
We sang Safety in various locations around the city including outside Gray's Inn, by the festive ice rink in Somerset House, and on Whitehall by 10 Downing Street.
Now it's your turn and we want you to join our #SongsofthePeople choir to carol for peace and freedom this Christmas to celebrate the ECHR.
Our revolution began 75 years ago in the ashes of war. It has secured our human rights and fundamental freedoms enabling all on European soil to bring authority to account if they abuse them. We are singing to ensure that those protections remain and continue to grow for future generations.
The world around us is packed with poetry and melody and the public and private writings of our storyteller, David Maxwell Fyfe, are filled with lyrical song.
The songs of the people feed and inspire them, lifting their spirits. This is the time of year for carol singing, which by tradition is associated with Christmas but simply means singing an uplifting song.
So why not join us in singing Dreams of Peace & Freedom Part IX - Safety which celebrates ECHR's protections in song.
